Feature · Search

Find anything. Miss nothing.

Search is a Cmd + K spotlight that finds any memory by meaning, while a notifications centre keeps you on top of conflicts, syncs and proactive AI suggestions — so the important things surface on their own.

What it is

The short version.

Two halves of staying on top of your knowledge: pull and push. Pull is semantic search — open the spotlight from anywhere, type, and get ranked memories by meaning rather than exact words. Push is the notification centre — conflicts, new syncs and AI nudges arrive so you never have to go looking for what changed.

The breakdown

What you get.

  • Cmd + K spotlight. Open instantly from anywhere and search every memory, chat, file and project.
  • Semantic ranking. Results are matched by meaning, not keywords, with live previews as you type.
  • Rich result rows. Each hit shows its entity, type, source and confidence so you can pick the right one.
  • Notification centre. Conflict alerts, integration syncs and AI suggestions collected in one place.
  • Stay in control. Dismiss individual notifications, mark all read, or clear the lot.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is search keyword-based or semantic?

Semantic. Akhrots matches the meaning of your query against your memories, so you can find “the café idea” even if you never used those exact words when you saved it.

What kinds of notifications will I get?

Three kinds: conflict alerts when memories disagree, sync notifications when an integration brings in new memories, and proactive AI suggestions from NUT. You control which are on in Settings.
